Wood Measurements
A cubic cord measures 4' x 4' x 8',
which equals four rows of wood that are
4' high by 4' wide, and the wood measures
2' feet (24 inches) in length. Few people
can burn wood that is this long anymore,
so most of our wood measures 16-20 inches
in length.
We still sell the 2'x4', 4'x4', 4'x8', and
4'x16' quantity, typically called 1/8, 1/4,
1/2 and full cord. Because those sizes
are not cubic measure, we also include
the cubic meter measurement for each
of these quantities to avoid any
discrepancies.
Wheelbarrows are measured in cubic
feet and are noted accordingly. Two of
our large wheelbarrows will equal a 2'x4'
quantity.

Delivery is based on mileage and the labor involved at the delivery site.
Please Note: We do not navigate stairs, steep terrain, etc.
When figuring delivery cost, please add mileage & labor cost to get a final total (see info below). If we are just dropping the wood off at your location, add only mileage.
Mileage:
0-4.9 miles=$35
5-9.9 miles =$50
10-14.9 miles= $65
Every additional 5 miles adds $15.
Labor Cost for Stacking:
Add $10 for every 4'x4' if we can back to where the wood will be stacked (that means we can put the tailgate right next to the stacking location).
Add $20 for every 4'x4' if we need a cart to transport the wood more than five feet from the tailgate.
